On July 14th at 9am, Wisconsin Hot Rod Radio will be broadcasting live from Iola. Streaming on Milwaukee’s FONZ FM FM107.3, 100.7, AM 1290 – Captn’ Bob and Arlo will be interviewing many of the big-named celebrity gear-heads attending the car show, including:
- Henry Winkler, The Fonz on Happy Days TV Show, movie star, director, producer and author.
- Jo Coddington, American Hot Rod TV Show and Automotive Industry Spokesperson.
- KC Mathieu, Fast n Loud TV Show.
- Wisconsin’s own Mike and Jim Ring, Custom Builders, Multi SEMA Award Winners.
- And many others attending the Iola Car Show.
Wisconsin Hot Rod Radio is the state’s first and only radio show dedicated to gearheads, pin-up doves, flame throwing hot rods, drag strip tire smoke, chromed out wheels, B-side jukebox treasures, and celebrating the unique and funky history of car clubs.
But it’s not just about being the best radio show in the state, it’s also about bringing people together across America and abroad. Wisconsin Hot Rod Radio is honored to be a voice in protecting car-owners’ legislative rights, supporting hundreds of fundraising non-profit causes over the years, and organizing dozens of meetings with car club leaders to help in preserving their histories and futures.
WHRR is affiliated with the Discovery and Velocity channels and have conducted interviews with many of the stars. Be it celebrities like Jay Leno, Dave Kindig, Stacey David, Wayne Carini and many more. Last year Captn’ Bob and Arlo hung out with Jay Leno at the Wisconsin Automotion show. Dave Kindig spent a day with the boys at last year’s Granville Show. This year they will be hanging out with Joe and Amanda Martin from Velocity’s Iron Resurrection.
